PUNO

Puno is located at 3,830 m. Above sea level with a dry weather, sunny and very cold nights.  Puno was the center of development of the highly civilized Tiahuanuco culture.

Puno is known by its holidays songs and about 300 dancings by which inhabitants express their history.

 


MAGIC PUNO  3 Days – 2 Nights

 

Day 01: Puno-Chullpas de Sillustani

Upon arrival at Juliaca’s airport, transfer to your hotel in Puno.

Morning, visit the necropolis of Sillustani, at 12,000 feet above sea level, the lagoon of Umayo and the fabulous “chullpas,” or tombs, in the shape of cylinders. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 02: UROS AND TAQUILE ISLAND

Transfer to the port to take a boat ride over Lake Titicaca, to visit the floating islands of Uros. Afternoon, visit to the isle of Taquile, known for its pre-Inca and Inca ruins, and Inca terraces. Afternoon, return to Puno and overnight there. Lunch included.

 

Day 03: PUNO – DEPARTURE

Transfer to t the airport or bus station for departure.
